Turkey Day Doggie No-no's!

Turkey, pumpkin pie, yummy cookies – this time of year offers such deliciousness, and we’re not the only ones who want to partake in the feasts! As you begin making your Thanksgiving plans and preparations, please remember to keep your furry family members’ safety in mind.

Be sure to keep these ingredients away from your pets - alcohol, chocolate, grapes, raisins, raw or undercooked turkey, turkey bones, raw dough or batter, onions and garlic. You can also check out ASPCA’s full list of ingredients to be wary of to ensure your pet is safe this Thanksgiving.

If you are ever unsure if your pet has gotten into something that they shouldn’t have, please call your vet, who can give you advice on what to do. If you can't reach your vet quickly, you can contact the Poison Control hotline. (This is good information to have on hand all the time!)

Enjoy a safe holiday for your family AND pets!
